Gareth P Jones was first published in 2007 with his Dragon Detective series. Since then, he has written series such as Ninja Meerkats, Steampunk Pirates and Pet Defenders. His books for older readers include The Thornthwaite inheritance, The Considine Curse, Constable & Toop and Death or Ice Cream? He has also written the picture books Rabunzel, CinderGorilla and The Lion on the Bus. When he isn’t writing books, he can usually be found visiting schools where he sings songs about his books. He sometimes performs at music festivals.
He lives with his wife, two children & way too many musical instruments. He recently wrote a musical about his book Rabunzel, which tells the story of a long eared rabbit who gets locked away in a high hutch.
